The beautiful scenic county of East Lothian lies to the East of the City of Edinburgh. With its long coastline and rolling countryside it really is a million miles from city living and almost certainly why more and more people are choosing to look at East Lothian for their next property. Fort Kinnaird also has its own Odeon Cinema and well known restaurants such as Nandos, TGI Fridays and Frankie & Bennys. The picturesque harbour at Fisherrow with its yachts, Musselburgh Racecourse for your day out at the races, Musselburgh Links-The Old Golf Course, parks and Sports Centre with swimming pool to name but a few. All this just on the outskirts of Edinburgh and the city centre being easily reached by the numerous bus services running through the town or by train in 7 minutes from Musselburgh Railway Station.
The heritage of Musselburgh can be dated back to Roman times and with a town being around for such a long time you can imagine the variety of property on offer. From old listed buildings to the most modern of developments Musselburgh can cater for most tastes and will have a property style and location to suit almost everyone. Property prices in the town and surrounding areas have historically been lower than that of the capital and given the close proximity to Edinburgh it is hard to believe that your budget can go much further here.
